While it's not officially supported, I managed to get the fingerprint sensor working by doing the following:
sudo apt install libpam-fprintd
fprintd-enroll (then scan fingerprint)
sudo pam-auth-update (then select fingerprint authentication and enable it)
That's what worked for me on mint.
Once they have, you'll be able to view a graph of their reputation gained over time.
