Please do not place wifi cable under the tape as pictured in frameworks picture here, this isn’t the way it comes from the factory. See step 7. It will likely cause failure of the display after repeated opening and closing of the shell
Keep in mind the magnet on the right hinge is going to instant attract the screw, I spent 5mins trying to get the screw to reach the hole without the magnet nicking the screw before saying bugger it and pulled out the tweezers 👍
Please be aware that in most cases you must first move the cables out of the routing on the chassis first before trying to lay it flat. Do not use a lot of force! Trying to lay it flat without this will pull on the cables and most likely break them

For those with the cnc cover or more recent 12th gen laptops onwards these will be all metal, just look for the metal version of it 😉
