If the webcam connector does not line up with the ribbon cable, it may be necessary to move the ribbon cable. There was adhesive attaching it to my CNC Top Cover replacement, but could be lifted carefully and re-stuck after sliding the webcam cable into the connector.
It was necessary for me to lift the bottom end of webcam ribbon cable and place it over the right hinge bracket for the right hinge fasteners to seat properly. This was a bit counterintuitive because my new CNC Top Cover arrived with adhesive sticking the bottom of the webcam ribbon to the cover, so I needed to detach the adhesive. Without doing so, the webcam cable was in the way of one of the bezel tabs, causing the bottom of the bezel to not sit flush when reassembled.
