Just a quick note for anyone in the situation where one of the bottom case screws is stripped and needs to be replaced. In our case, the screw stripped upon initial assembly by my teen. I contacted support and was sent a replacement screw but no instructions on how to remove the "captive" screw; and nothing listed on the support pages. I didn't want to force it and risk damaging the case, but support would not provide guidance, other than to take it to a repair shop. This is not the one of the five that is held by an e/c clip; this one was one of the other four. I was able to use a very small, blunt tipped tool from the inside of the case and pop the screw out the back/external side using light to moderate force, without damaging the case. I was then able to pop the replacement screw in with light force using my finger, and it has held in place (is captive again). I believe there is a non-metal piece (maybe a plastic washer) that keeps it captive. Pliers to pull it out probably would have worked, too
