Introduction
This guide shows how to replace the left fan on your Graphics Module. If you are replacing the right fan, the steps are the same (only mirrored).

Using the Torx T5 bit in your Framework Screwdriver, remove the 4 fasteners from the Graphics Module cover.

First remove the two fasteners from the top of the Graphics Module and then remove the two fasteners from either side.

It may be easier to remove the fasteners from either side by rotating the Graphics Module as shown.

With the fasteners removed, the top portion of the Graphics Module Cover will lift off easily.

Loosen the 4 fasteners on the fan, these fasteners are captive and will remain attached to the fan.

Lift the latch securing the fan cable to the Graphics Module board.

Carefully lift the fan out of the Graphics Module Cover being mindful of the cable.

Using the spudger side of the Framework Screwdriver can make guiding the fan cable easier as shown

Start by routing the fan cable through the channel and then lower the fan into place.

Plug in the fan cable and close the latch to secure it to the Graphics Module Board.

Tighten the 4 captive fasteners to secure the fan in place.

Place the top piece of the Graphics Module Cover into place and make sure it is aligned well to the bottom of the cover.

Using the Torx T5 bit in your Framework Screwdriver, install the 4 fasteners into the Graphics Module cover.

First install the two fasteners from either side and then install the two fasteners from the top of the Graphics Module.

It may be easier to install the fasteners from either side by rotating the Graphics Module as shown.
